Subject Information

YEARS 1 AND 2

Students in Years 1 and 2 follow a general course which is intended to provide them with the skills and appropriate subject content foundation to progress into IGCSE in Year 3.  All subjects are compulsory with the exception of the foreign language / mother tongue language (MTL) which are studied according to the student’s background and/or linguistic experience.  Singaporean and Singaporean PR students must follow the MOE MTL approach.  All other students are required to study a foreign language, including local students who are exempted from MTL.

CURRICULUM DELIVERY

With the exception of Language classes, all lessons are taught in English. Students are supported in developing the key skills of research, communication and inquiry throughout all programmes.
